8 December 2019 between 9 AM and 6 PM
Next to the Rudolfsturm in Hallstatt high valley/ Hallstatt salt mine
For the first time, Salzwelten invites you to join us and our regional partners for a small-yet-magical Advent market next to the Rudolfsturm in Hallstatt. Alpenhorns and glowing braziers guarantee a peaceful, reflective setting certain to put you in the right frame of mind for the Christmas season. The market stands will have much to offer, with a delicious selection of culinary treats along with traditional arts & crafts pieces looking for new owners. A colorful children’s program includes face painting as well as opportunities to build their own Nativity scene or make a wooden spinning top on a lathe to take home with them.
Yet another highlight: At an interactive station, scientists from the Natural History Museum will host a stand offering virtual flights through a prehistoric mine.
